
Accountability is essential for non-profits. To uphold transparency and trust, NGOs publish Year in Review reports, providing a clear overview of their impact and progress.
Additionally, year in review reports are used as a way for internal management to communicate to external actor such us stakeholder, donors or clients. Because of this, creating a good and communicative reports matter for company but especially to non – profits industry.
Creating a good year in review or mostly known as annual report require a keen eye for detail. Balancing clarity and engagement to effectively communicate an organization’s impact and responsible use of funds. In 2024, Alivea collaborated with Singapore’s pioneer in elder care, St. Luke’s Hospital. Founded in honor of the patron saint of medicine. St. Luke’s Hospital was Singapore’s first dedicated eldercare facility. They provide holistic community care, offering inpatient, outpatient, home-based, and specialized services in rehabilitation, dementia, wound, and palliative care. It’s been an honored for Alivea to be part of their journey in 2024.

Scope of Work
In this project, Alivea handled the process from the conceptualization to the production of the year in review report. By aligning the design and layout with the theme “Beacon of Light” which is reflected through a thoughtful blend of illustrations and a carefully curated color palette in the report.
Every design choice, from typography to color schemes, was carefully curated. In order to maintain a sense of warmth, professionalism, and clarity. In this project we also provided both a digital flipbook for online engagement and premium-quality printed copies for distribution.
Challenges
The challenge was striking the right balance. Capturing St. Luke’s values of humility and service while celebrating their achievements with a classy, professional design.
We needed to ensure that the report was engaging yet dignified. Which is why it’s important to avoid overly corporate or clinical aesthetics while maintaining a structured, polished look. From concept discussions to meticulous revisions, Alivea worked closely with St. Luke’s. The result of this collaboration? Report that authentically represented their mission and legacy.
